Inventory Team Lead (PH/PKT)

The Inventory Team Lead will oversee the day-to-day management of product inventory on Amazon/Walmart, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely order processing, and compliance with platform policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while fostering collaboratively within the team. The successful candidate will leverage historical sales data and market trends to forecast inventory needs, driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management on Amazon and Walmart, monitoring stock levels, executing restocks, and preventing out-of-stock scenarios.
  • Conduct regular stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Leverage historical sales data and market trends to forecast future inventory needs and inform purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate order processing, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Communicate proactively with Account Managers and clients, sharing insights on inventory performance, challenges, and strategic updates tailored to each client.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective fulfillment solutions, including FBA and FBM, and advise clients on the best options.
  • Manage shipping logistics (LTL, small parcel, etc.) and strategize fulfillment based on each client’s capabilities.
  • Stay current on Amazon and Walmart inventory policies, ensuring full compliance and adapting processes as needed.
  • Continuously simplify and improve processes in the current workflow.
  • Lead and manage the inventory team, providing mentorship, support, and training as needed.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve reporting and analytics dashboards to track team performance and client project progress, driving innovation and efficiency across inventory operations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Conduct team meetings to share progress, address challenges, and maintain a collaborative environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance reviews to support team development.

Job Requirements and Key Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience creating and monitoring Amazon and Walmart shipments.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets.
  • Experience with product listings, data feeds, and web analytics strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
