Job Overview: The Senior Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP) Manager at Amazon is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of Amazon’s programmatic advertising campaigns. This role involves managing DSP operations, strategizing to maximize return on investment (ROI), and ensuring efficient use of advertising budgets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of programmatic advertising, strong analytical skills, and experience managing large-scale advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the setup, execution, and optimization of programmatic advertising campaigns across various DSPs to meet performance goals.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement programmatic strategies to drive efficient ad spend and maximize ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively across campaigns to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) and external partners (e.g., DSPs, ad networks) to align programmatic advertising efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize advanced programmatic tools and technologies to enhance campaign performance and reporting.
  • Optimization Techniques: Implement advanced optimization techniques such as audience segmentation, bid adjustments, and creative testing to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on programmatic best practices and advanced techniques.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain campaign integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a focus on managing DSP operations and large-scale campaigns.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising and DSP ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in using data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize advertising budgets.
  • Familiarity with ad technologies and platforms (e.g., Google DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Pacvue, Helium 10, ).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong desire to profitably grow clients businesses with DSP
