We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will take existing footage, stock video, images, and client-provided content and transform it into high-quality, compelling video content for Amazon and Walmart product listings, storefronts, and advertising campaigns. You’ll work closely with creative managers, designers, and listing specialists to create video content that drives engagement, enhances brand storytelling, and increases conversions to drive sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit and assemble high-quality videos using client-provided footage, stock videos, and images to create engaging content for e-commerce listings, storefronts, and ad campaigns.
- Storytelling & Campaign Development: Work with the creative team to develop engaging video narratives that are part of broader marketing campaigns, aimed at driving traffic and conversions for specific clients.
- Animation & Motion Graphics: Proficiently turn talking head videos into engaging, dynamic pieces using motion graphics, animated text, B-roll footage, and other visual elements to enhance the storytelling.
- Typography & Visual Design: Show expertise in typography, color correction, composition, title design, keyframing, and compositing to deliver polished and professional final videos.
- Creative Collaboration: Play an active role in brainstorming new ideas, concepts, and strategies for video content, and manage post-production projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborative Workflow: Work directly with creative managers and cross-functional teams to make revisions, and ensure that videos meet client and project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proof videos for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client expectations before delivery. Make revisions based on client feedback.
- Archive & Organization: Properly maintain a digital archive of video assets, adhering to naming conventions and organizational standards for easy access and project continuity.
- Fast-Paced Execution: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing daily and weekly deadlines while producing high-quality video content for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Stay Current with Trends: Keep up-to-date with video marketing trends on Amazon, including new formats, tools, and best practices for video content in e-commerce.
- Additional Tasks: Support the team with other video editing tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the agency.
Job Requirements and Key Competencies:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a focus on product videos, marketing videos, or eCommerce content.
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring product stories to life through video.
- Ability to work with stock footage and client-provided assets to create visually appealing content that tells a compelling story.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms and their video integration options.
- Experience with motion graphics and text overlays, particularly for ad videos and product highlights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency throughout all video content.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce or product-related video work.
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
